Shopify Pricing in India (2026): Plans in Rupees and What You Really Pay
Shopify's Basic plan costs ₹1,994 a month, or ₹1,499 a month billed yearly. Stores in India also pay a 2% fee on sales on top of the gateway's fee, because Shopify Payments isn't available here. At ₹1.5 lakh a month in sales, that is ₹4,499 a month to Shopify.

Trial: 3 days free with no credit card. After that, most plans cost ₹20 a month for the first 3 months, then the standard monthly price.
GST: Shopify charges GST on its fees to stores located in India, shown on your monthly or yearly bill. If you add your GSTIN, invoices issued after that date are exempt. The pricing page does not say whether listed prices include GST or what rate applies.
What you pay each month at different sales levels
Each line picks the plan that costs least at that sales level, on the longest billing the platform offers, including any fee the platform takes on sales. Shopify's plan prices may have GST added on your bill. Payment gateway fees are extra on every platform, including Selzix.

When Shopify is the better choice
Shopify suits sellers who want a large app and theme ecosystem and expect to grow into many staff accounts, locations, B2B catalogs or POS. Basic costs ₹1,499 a month on yearly billing, which is well under ₹5,000 a month. At low sales volumes, Basic can work out cheaper even after the 2% third-party fee.
Costs and limits to watch
Shopify Payments is not on Shopify's list of supported countries for India. So stores in India pay the third-party transaction fee on top of their payment gateway's own fee: 2% on Basic, 1% on Grow, 0.6% on Advanced and 0.2% on Plus. Showing prices in local currencies and accepting local payment methods through Shopify Markets need Shopify Payments. GST is added to Shopify's fees unless you give your GSTIN. Plus subscriptions of 1 or 3 years can only be cancelled when the term ends. Prices for apps and paid themes are not on the pricing page.
Shopify or Selzix?
Selzix costs ₹5,000 a month, or ₹50,000 a year (₹4,167 a month), with GST included, and takes nothing from your sales. Shopify Basic is cheaper while sales are low: at ₹50,000 a month in sales it costs ₹2,499 (₹1,499 plus the 2% fee). The two cost the same at about ₹1.33 lakh a month in sales. Above that, Shopify's fee on sales makes it dearer: ₹10,599 a month at ₹5 lakh in sales, on the Grow plan.
Beyond price, Selzix builds your store from your Instagram posts before you pay, and includes GST invoices with HSN codes, cash on delivery with order limits, and Shiprocket or Delhivery shipping on your own account.
