Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Selzix (“Selzix”, “we”, “us”), a hosted storefront platform that lets sellers create and operate their own online stores. By creating an account or using selzix.com and its subdomains, you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

Selzix provides software for building and running an online store: storefront hosting, product and order management, payment-gateway and shipping integrations, invoicing, and related tools. Selzix is a technology provider — each store on the platform is owned and operated by its seller, who is solely responsible for the products sold, order fulfilment, and compliance with applicable law.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when registering and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering a binding contract to sell on Selzix.

3. Subscriptions & billing

  • Selzix plans are paid monthly or yearly in advance and do not automatically renew.
  • Your storefront is publicly available while your subscription is active.
  • If a subscription lapses, the storefront is paused (not deleted) until it is renewed.
  • Selzix charges no commission or transaction fee on your sales; payments from your customers are processed by your own payment-gateway account and settle directly to you.

4. Seller responsibilities

  • Sell only products you may lawfully sell in your country and in every country you ship to, and honour the policies you publish on your store (shipping, returns, refunds).
  • Handle customer data collected through your store lawfully and only for fulfilling orders and serving your customers.
  • Collect and remit the taxes that apply to your sales, and issue legally required documents (such as GST or VAT invoices, where applicable) — Selzix provides tooling, but tax compliance remains your responsibility.
  • Do not use the platform for anything unlawful, deceptive, or harmful, including counterfeit goods, prohibited items, or infringing content.

5. Content

You retain ownership of the content you upload (product photos, copy, branding). You grant Selzix a licence to host, display, and process that content solely to operate the service. We may remove content that violates these Terms or applicable law.

6. Suspension & termination

You may choose not to renew; your store remains live until the end of the paid period. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, create legal risk, or harm the platform or its users. See our Refund Policy for what happens to payments.

7. Disclaimers & liability

The service is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Selzix’s aggregate liability for any claim arising out of the service is limited to the subscription fees you paid in the three months before the claim arose. Selzix is not a party to the sale between a seller and their customer.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes will be notified via email or the dashboard. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
